With my photo colouring service, I can give a new lease of life to your old black and white photos through a full digital process, meaning no damage or changes are made to the original photo. The process is achieved by digitally building up layers upon layers of colour tones, eventually bringing it back to life and showing that moment in history that may have never previously been frozen in colour.
Unlike many websites and apps today that claim to be able to recolour your photos in a few minutes I do not use AI systems to do such colouring. I use whatever colour guidance you can provide me, along with some historical research and careful guess work I try to reproduce the colours as close to the original as possible. Some of these AI apps work wonders but nothing beats a finished piece by hand.
This technique can also be used for heavily faded colour photographs. Sometimes the colour information is too damaged to recover and partial or full colourising is needed.
